Many vacation rentals on Curaçao advertise with “sea view” or “ocean view”. In practice, that often means: a glimpse of blue through a row of other villas, or descending a few hundred metres of hill before your feet are in the water.
At 3 Palabrua it's different. From your terrace you look directly over the Spanish Water. Twenty-five metres and you're on the jetty. Another ten steps and you're in the water. No street between, no hill to descend, no intermediate destination. It's the sea, directly.
Moreover, the Spanish Water is not open sea but a large, sheltered bay — about three kilometres long and one and a half at its widest point. That makes the water always calm and clear, even when the wind is strong inland. Perfect for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking or mooring a small boat.

The direct proximity to water enables many activities without first getting in the car. From our jetty or beaches you can:
- ✓ Step directly into the water for snorkelling — the Spanish Water has small fish, sea urchins and soft corals close to shore
- ✓ Rent a kayak or SUP board from one of the providers on the same bay (5 min walk)
- ✓ Rent a boat for a day on the water or a trip to Klein Curaçao
- ✓ Fish from the jetty, or let kids safely wade in the shallows
- ✓ Watch the sunset with a glass of wine on the terrace — the sun sets on the western side of the bay
