Location
Playa Lagun is located just south of Westpunt on Curaçao. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Willemstad to Playa Lagun. It is a relatively narrow beach with a deep bay nestled between two high cliffs. It’s precisely this location that makes Playa Lagun so unique.
Entrance
Playa Lagun is a public beach and accessible to everyone for free. You can simply lay out your towel and spend the whole day enjoying the sun or relaxing under the shade of the big tree.
Facilities
At Playa Lagun, you can rent beach beds for 7 guilders. There is a large tree that provides shade, and there are some huts where you can sometimes sit, find a masseuse, or see fishermen at work. Additionally, there are two restaurants at Lagun where you can enjoy a snack, drink, and use the restroom. One of them is accessible via a staircase from the beach and offers a phenomenal view of the sea.
