Swimming with dolphins
Have you always wanted to swim with dolphins? This is your opportunity to interact directly with them and enjoy your time with these beautiful and gentle mammals.
Swimming with dolphins in Curaçao is a magical experience. The program begins with a short instructional film and an explanation of how to interact with the dolphins in the water, with the rules clearly explained by the trainers. Afterward, you can prepare for the encounter with the dolphins. Before entering the water, you can choose your flippers and swim with them, just like a fish! While swimming in the natural dolphin lagoon, the dolphins will swim alongside you, allowing you to gently touch them. You’ll also give the dolphins various signals, and they’ll respond by singing, waving, spinning, and much more.
The Dolphin Academy is located in the Sea Aquarium, and programs are available daily at 8:30 am, 11:00 am, or 2:00 pm. Combine the program with a day at the sea aquarium, where you’ll discover the underwater world of Curaçao and encounter beautiful marine life. Your time in the water is approximately 30 minutes, and the entire experience lasts about one and a half hours.
Minimum age is 8 years old, and the height requirement is 1.30 meters. Experience with swim fins/flippers is required.
